Hawaii Board of Nursing Licensing
The Hawaii Board of Nursing is responsible for licensing Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in the state.
Hawaii is not a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) , therefore, nurses planning to work in Hawaii must apply directly to the Board of Nursing for licensure.
Submission of English language proficiency test scores is not required.
