Guam CPA Exam Requirements

To qualify for the CPA Exam in Guam, you must meet the following criteria:

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (150 Semester Units), must include:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Accounting:
    • 24 credits in upper-division accounting courses (e.g., Financial Accounting and Reporting, Auditing, Taxation, Managerial/Cost Accounting).
    • 24 credits in upper-division business courses or their equivalent.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Business:
    • 24 credits in upper-division accounting courses (same subjects as above).
    • 24 credits in upper-division business courses.
  3. U.S. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent:
    • 24 credits in upper-division accounting courses (same subjects as above).
    • 24 credits in upper-division business courses, including 6 credits in Economics, 3 credits in Finance, 3 credits in Business Law.

Additional Notes:

  • Candidates may qualify for the CPA Exam if they are enrolled in an upper-division undergraduate or advanced degree program and can meet the education requirements within 18 months of their first exam section. Submission of a Guam Certificate of Enrollment Form is required.
