Licensing Authority: Colorado Office of Barber & Cosmetology Licensure
Licensure Application Requirements:
- ERES Barbering and Cosmetology Evaluation
- Please indicate the state licensing board to which you are applying when submitting your barbering or cosmetology application.

Cosmetology Licenses:
- Cosmetologist License: 1,500 hours of instruction at an approved cosmetology school.
- Hairstylist License: 1,200 hours of instruction focusing solely on hair services.
- Esthetician License: 600 hours of instruction in skincare techniques.
- Nail Technician License: 600 hours of instruction in nail care services.
Barbering Licenses:
- Barber License: 1,500 hours of instruction at an approved barbering school.
